Lord of the Rings characters
Thought I'd screw around with making Guildwars characters based on people from Lord of the Rings seeing as I just watched all three movies in one sitting. These characters aren't meant to be good builds, just copies of LOTR characters.
Aragorn:
R/W
Sword and Shield.
12 expertise, 10 swordsmanship, 10 tactics
Mid-tall character. Long black hair with bearded face, black clothing.
Sever Artery, Gash, Final Thrust, Riposte, Healing Sig, Whirling Defence, Throw Dirt, Gladiator's Defence
Gimli:
W/Mo
Axe and shield.
15 Axe mastery, 11 Strength, 11 Tactics
Shortest length character. Red hair with heavily bearded face and red armour.
Eviscerate, Axe Twist, Axe Rake, Cyclone Axe, Dolyak Signet, Watch Yourself, Healing Sig, Bull Strike
Legolas:
R/Me
14 Marksmenship, 11 Expertise, 11 Wilderness Survival
Tall character. Default hair style but blonde and all green armors.
Dual Shot, Point Blank Shot, Quick Shot, Interrupt Shot, Troll Ungent, Read the Wind, Storm Chaser, Favorable Winds
Gandalf:
E/Mo
Maximum height. Full white armors and long hair with lots of facial hair.
16 Air magic, 11 Energy Storage, 10 Healing Prayers
Lightning Orb, Lightning Strike, Enervating Charge, Mind Shock, Air Attunement, Heal Other, Healing Touch, Vigorous Spirit

I could see Gimli with Thrill of Victory, too, since he brags about his kills. And maybe "Charge!" for Aragorn.

Your dark jedi build kind of reminded me to try base some builds off fantasy characters but I already had melee Rangers named Aragorn like 2 months after the game was released to the disdain of many players. Seems like now melee rangers have finally caught on.

gandalf would be a fire ele, probably some wierd combo of fire and smite with a cheapo 5 tic healing breze thrown in. (he has one of the elven rings, the fire one). Hed probably have some pbaoe fire spells and then a few targetable smite skills
The rest i dont think you can realy do right with guild wars, so whats there is probably just as close as anything we would get.

Yeah I mean Aragorn... a ranger and he fights with a sword and no shield... ain't exactly a good thing to have in Guildwars.

I always pictured Gimli as a tank with an axe and Legolas is an elf so he needs some graceful enchanted quality about him.

Considering the nature of the characters, my vote is that they have dual elites...
Gimli uses Cleave, not Evisc for one thing (he takes down multiple targets, not damage spiking). He also has defy pain (he's the most durable and has the highest endurance of all the characters listed).
Aragorn gets Charge! as well.
Legolas... I can't think of anything from the book, so moviewise he should be R/A with at least 1 dagger attack
Gandalf for one isn't a mortal... but to try... he has skills such as banish, shield of judgment, lightning strike, blinding flash, aftershock... technically by the book he's tripleclassed to W as well, but meh

I think he should be a R/A and get Repeating Strike, because i remember that he have something for melee combat.. Long time ago i have watched the movies, but it's true, right?

Legolas shoots several arrows at once in the movie when he takes down a Mumakil (Battle of the Pelennor Fields, battle scene outside Minas Tirith.) Can't think of a skill for this...

The hobbits should all be W/A. Before you jump at my throat for saying this, read below.
For everyone who didn't read the third book, a big chunk of it wasn't shown on the actual Return of the King movie. This part consisted of the 4 hobbits returning to their Shire and fighting off a group of banding as well as some other hobbits who were terrorising the others and trying to run things.
If i remember the description correctly, everyone was wearing armor, shields and they also had their enchanted swords...more like long daggers to the normal man but they looked like swords to them. Hobbits collected their armor throughout their journey, like Merry who was wearing the chains of Rohan, another one was wearing some armor and shield in honor of Gondor. Yeah, the movie didn't really include them. Also Merry fought togather with the Lady of Rohan while riding in full armor and shield. Sounds like a warrior to me
During the battle of the shire they also fight hand to hand several times (warrior thingy). They make use of their armor and shields. Therefore its not the fighting style of aragorn (dodging blows) but more like blocking them with a shield. And they were better armored than aragorn (a R/W as you said)
Now i don't have the patience to figure out all their skills but they are supposed to have shadow step and some other hiding skills which they used mainly during the first book to hide from the dark riders. They are also supposed to have dagger mastery, or swordmanship, depending on how you view their weapons
Feel free to add.

Barrage = multiple targets. This was one target, multiple arrows (more than two, so not Dual Shot.)
